When I started as Marketing Manager in 2017, ScanBox had been stagnant at 7 million USD turnover with a 1% EBIT for a couple of years. By implementing diversified strategies, clear segmented communication and digital tools for marketing and sales, our trajectory to date is 15 million USD in turnover with 20% EBIT. Despite the pandemic and forced shutdown of our markets, we have exceeded our goals for the first half of 2022. In the beginning of 2020, 70% of our turnover and our growth engine was the hospitality segment, i.e., hotels, casinos, restaurants and more. When we were faced with the challenge of how to survive without this segment, we decided to use our newly implemented CRM-system to find contacts within the institutional segment, i.e., hospitals, elderly care centers, schools and more. We managed to to reach 2019's turnover and EBIT in 2020. We started to grow once more in 2021. At the end of 2021, we saw the hospitality segment pick back up again and thus 2022 is on the trajectory to be the best year in ScanBox history.

Responsible for sales in the Maritime segment of commercial kitchen equipment. Increased ScanBox awareness on the market by exhibiting relevant shows, networking with key players and showed the impact we can do with custom made products.

I decided to leave Stockholm in Sweden to focus on a hotel struggling with 6% occupancy rate. The property owner hand-picked me to join their team with the goal of transforming the hotel from one that was struggling to a place that guests were eager to stay. I officially joined the team as Marketing Manager in the beginning of 2016, but was quickly appointed Quality Assurance Manager as well as IT Manager. By the time I left at the end of 2017, the occupancy rate averaged 70%. I implemented digital infrastructure, started up smart digital tools for staff and guest and regained trust in the brand among visitors by turning negatives into positives. Their journey continued after I left and today is seen as THE hotel of the region.
