As an Analytical Chemist with a BS in Chemistry and 13 years of experience in R&D and Analysis at Weyerhaeuser Co, my research provided consistent, timely data for multiple projects. Some of those projects were thereby allowed to move forward into production and commercialization. I have a proven ability to analyze cellulose, cellulose products and Kraft bleaching byproducts, to determine chemical or physical properties or structure, using wet chemistry, titrations, lab and pilot scale catalyzed reactions, spectrophotometry and tensile techniques. As a Class III Laboratory Technician, I was routinely asked to help out other teams to relieve a heavy workload while maintaining my own. Though sometimes frustrating, this allowed me to learn many new procedures, which I always enjoyed.
