Responsibilities:• Managed the implementation of numerous campaigns to effectively communicate the decisions made by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen to Collierville residents.• Re-designed and wrote copy for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Annual Citizens’ Reports to reflect a professional and innovative look and feel of a magazine publication; developed an online annual report in 2017 and 2018.• Created a Social Media Plan for the Town of Collierville and actively tracked analytics to continually measure and develop communication goals.• Planned the day-to-day activity on Town of Collierville social media sites, email communication and website content.• Coordinated, filmed and edited numerous Public Service Announcements with various departments including the Fire and Police Chiefs to address safety concerns during various times throughout the year.• Assisted in the planning and implementation of hosting events such as The University of Memphis Collierville Campus Grand Opening, Town of Collierville Boards and Commissions Appreciation Reception, Ribbon Cutting of Interstate 385 and the Collierville Burch LibraryAccomplishments:• Managed a a tenacious social media campaign for the title of Parade magazine’s contest “Best Main Street in America” won by Collierville, TN in 2014.• Earned a “Constant Contact All-Star” Award in 2017 for performing in the top 10 percent of Constant Contact’s customer base for email marketing and communication.• Chosen to serve on the Local Host Committee for the 2019 Government in Social Media Conference in Nashville, TN.• Published multiple articles in The Commercial Appeal, Elgl.org, Tennessee Public Works Magazine, the Collierville Herald.
