About Jeremy Bradrick

I am a networking professional with over 20 years of experience in networking from sales, to end-user/engineering, to post-sales. A quick snapshot of my experience includes Aruba Networks Commercial and SLED Systems Engineer, tier 2 TAC support for HP ProCurve Networks; and engineering/maintaining/supporting networks in: a war-zone for the US military, a small university campus, a large university campus, a large university medical center, and a multi-site major health insurance company.All of these experiences gave me the opportunity to work with a variety of vendors and learn new technologies. For example, in my most recent engineering gig, I had the opportunity to learn about cloud computing with AWS, and scripting with Python. I then combined those two things to develop a web app that created configuration scripts which allowed other network engineers and network administrators to configure all of the switches and routers necessary to bring up a new network over an AWS directconnect with redundant VPNs. It also stored all the values necessary for this in a mySQL database, which was also my first experience in working with a database. This app and process took the responsibility of these configurations and changes off of the network architect and freed him up for other things. Even though I have a rich and diverse technical background, my passion is people and building relationships with them. I love the opportunity to use my experience and diverse background to come along side customers and help them, either through sharing my knowledge and experience with them, troubleshooting with them, or designing a solution that makes their lives easier.Network engineering is fun, but I love being an SE as it allows me to grow technically, but also affords me the opportunity to teach, something I always desired to do as an engineer, but rarely had the opportunity to do.Specialties: wired/wireless network design and troubleshooting, vendor relations, client relations, Military/Medical/Higher Education/Enterprise
