My name is Jeremiah Mitchell and I am a Sophomore at Morehouse College. As a high school student, I have demonstrated my passion for learning and my commitment to excellence through my academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. I have consistently earned high grades in college preparatory courses, and maintained a 3.33 HS GPA. I have also participated in a variety of extracurricular activities, including media broadcasting, basketball, and track. Within these activities, I was honored with awards for my athleticism in the 110mH race as the 3rd Place Medalist at the Greater Atlanta Christian School Invitational and 3rd Place Medalist for Class 2A-Private Region 8. I also demonstrate excellence in digital media; I secured 1st Place for my chapter in the COVID-19 PSA Competition in the Southeastern Region of Jack and Jill of America Inc and lead the production of a 2 part short film addressing the mental health of African American youth. I have also been actively involved in my local community, volunteering my time with StreetWise Mobile Food Pantry, New Life Community Alliance, and other initiatives to help the homeless population in the Atlanta area.
