I also represent landlords and tenants involved in commercial leasing transactions including negotiating and drafting lease agreements, extensions, amendments and terminations. I also represent landlords and tenants in lease disputes including breaches of the lease agreement and lease administration issues involving Common Area Maintenance charges.REAL ESTATE TAX APPEALS. I represent residential and commercial landowners in the appeal of property assessments before local boards of review, the Iowa Property Assessment Appeal Board, and the District Courts of the State of Iowa.EMINENT DOMAIN. I represent individuals and businesses in eminent domain proceedings in the State of Iowa to ensure that just compensation is received from the condemning authority including negotiated purchases and contested hearings before appointed compensation commissions or the Iowa District Court.
