I support university-affiliated students, staff, faculty and alumni to co-create opportunities for social change in their communities using equity-centered design and systems thinking. Wond’ry Mentors are a network of entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and forward thinkers eager to share their experience and insights with the Wond’ry ecosystem.

Academic & Student Affairs - Professional & Career DevelopmentLed the restructuring and expansion of the student experience from admissions to graduation for the 2nd largest public policy school in the nation, overseeing the largest associate dean portfolio at UChicago. First and longest-serving senior associate dean in the school’s 35-year history during an era of growth from 300 to 1300 professional students, 3x degree offerings, 4x staff growth, and a new $80M building. Partnered regularly with deans, university leaders, political advisors, social activists, corporate executives, and award-winning academic leaders to craft meaningful learning and professional growth experiences for thousands of emerging global leaders, including developing and overseeing the inaugural Obama Scholars Program. Frequently represented the school at events as moderator, panelist, or keynote on topics related to public policy, education, leadership, and social impact.

Directed and stewarded the strategic revitalization of the Admissions office to drive enrollment and revenue growth. Modernized business operations, integrated digital platforms and systems, created new staff roles, revamped admission criteria, student recruitment, and marketing strategies. Chair of the Admissions Committee and responsible for admission and financial aid determinations for ten graduate degree programs. Represented UChicago as speaker, panelist, or recruiter at 10-15 national events per year.

Select Projects: -- EdTech startup offering a game design curriculum developed by faculty at Carnegie Mellon University for teacher training and high school students. Provided analysis and recommendations on program design and evaluation. Secured multiple community pilot partners, including public and private institutions.-- Pioneering private student housing laboratory designed to capture data on student behaviors using a range of technologies and sensors. Co-developed a participation strategy with the company leaders for a longitudinal study of 500+ students at University of Illinois.-- Global creative agency based in Chicago. Provided market analysis and strategic direction on brand narrative development for a Fortune 500 professional services firm seeking to introduce new products in the self-paced e-learning market.

Teaching faculty member for professional school offering graduate degrees in public administration(MPA), public policy (MPP), nonprofit management, (MNM) and international public service (IPS).Cross-Sector Analysis – This core course explores the capacities and constraints of the three sectors - public, private, and nonprofit - in domestic and international settings, emphasizing the dynamics of public-private and nonprofit-public partnerships.Comparative Public Policy – This elective course explores public policy choices in domestic and international contexts, and compares the various models of the policy-making process.

Co-created a startup health education initiative for at-risk CPS high school students. Program successfully elevated critical health metrics, graduation rates, and employment outcomes.Partnered with CPS Schools leadership, Northwestern and DePaul faculty, and the Chief Medical Officer at Innerlink to conceptualize the program framework, develop curriculum, and structure the delivery team.Directed daily program operations and managed a team of 20 health educators, CPS teachers, and medical school interns.

Responsible for case management duties for 300+ cases, including policy research, writing arguments, gathering evidence, interviewing clients, and facilitating cases with DHS, DOL, federal courts, and U.S. consulates abroad.

JET Programme - Expatriate living in rural whaling village, served as head liaison between local government agencies, schools, and international agencies, developing civic affairs and language courses for K-8 students, and government officials.
