With over nineteen years of experience in the US Army, I am a safety officer and instructor pilot who specializes in aeronautics, aviation, and aerospace science and technology. My mission is to train, mentor, and inspire the next generation of aviators and leaders, while ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance. I am passionate about supporting the US Army's vision of providing the most advanced and versatile aviation capabilities in the world, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences from my multiple deployments and special operations missions.As a safety officer and instructor pilot, I am responsible for instructing student pilots in their Advanced Qualification Training to become rated aviators and instructor pilots, as well as for identifying and eliminating hazardous conditions, establishing safe practices, and ensuring personnel comply with safe on and off duty activities. I've also managed the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a fleet of ten UH-60M helicopters, and performed maintenance test flights and operational checks to ensure their performance and airworthiness. Additionally, I assist the company standardization pilot by integrating, training, and evaluating pilots within the unit. I leverage my skills in infantry tactics, military weapons handling, and reconnaissance to plan and execute complex and in-depth missions in support of Tier One United States Special Operations Forces.
