About Jeremy Thorpe

I am an economist and public policy expert, non-executive director, and public speaker.At my core, I assist organisations (governments, regulators, courts, corporates and NFPs) make better decisions. In doing this I have applied my economic and legal training, coupled with close to thirty years of experience in government and as a consultant, across a range of issues, industries and countries.Consistent with this drive to make better decisions, I serve on the board of Flourish Australia. Flourish Australia works in local communities to help people on their mental health recovery journey. I was previously Chair of Viscopy, a copyright collecting society.I was previously the Chief Economist at PwC Australia, and an economist with the Allen Consulting Group, Australia’s Department of Treasury, and the Productivity Commission.
