Position/Duties:- A spin-co from Symantec- HR Helpdesk support for Asia South Region (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand) and Greater China Region (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan)- Manage the HR Helpdesk for all HR and non-HR related matters including insurance, medical, system, payroll, IT, etc- Knowledge of PeopleSoft- Workday Super-user- Process and set up hires, terminations, transfers into PeopleSoft/Workday system- Process transactions including Promotions, Transfers, Salary changes, etc- Maintain close follow up on escalations and/or investigations on discrepancies to relevant stakeholders/departments- Manage leave absences via Absence Management/Workday- Preparation of employment/reference letters, etc- Close partnership with non-HR departments such as IT, Payroll, Security, etc- Involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new software or function implementation- Maintain personnel files for both hardcopies and electronic copies, as well as data entries and filing- Prepare severance documents, including calculation of severance package through excel template- Conduct New Hire Inductions
