I received a BS degree with a focus in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University. Although my education is in Computer Engineering, I have worked my entire career as a System Engineer of Electrical and Instrument & Control (I&C) systems. I have been a System Engineer in the Nuclear Energy Industry since Jan. 2009. Throughout my professional career, I have worked for 2 companies, in which I have gained knowledge and experience with Boiling Water Reactors and Pressurized Water Reactors. However, I am not opposed to working in industries other than Nuclear. I have not only learned about the Nuclear industry, but I have also sharpened tangible skills such as technical writing and people skills while expanding my technical knowledge. I have worked extremely hard for my employers while bringing a “Think Outside the Box” mentality.
