I have been given tenure as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I currently work in two lower-secondary schools in Lozère, a rural area. I teach groups of 11 to 14 years old, including French as a Foreign Language to a small group of pupils recently arrived in France. One of my groups (11 year-old pupils) includes pupils with learning difficulties.

Long-term cover (French and Spanish): March 27 to July 1st, 2011, Valley Park Community School, Huntsman Lane, Maidstone, ME14 5DT (mixed comprehensive academy):- teaching French to four KS3 groups of students and French and three KS4 groups - one group preparing the French GCSE; - to report progress and achievement to the covered teacher. June 1st to July 23, 2010, The Marsh Academy, Station Road, New Romney TN28 8BB, Kent (mixed comprehensive academy): - teaching French and Spanish to eight KS3 groups of students and one KS4 group; - to report progress and achievement to the covered teacher. Day-to-day cover (all subjects): - to immediately adapt to new students and teaching situations; - to enforce school policy; to provide andsecure a safe learning environment; - to mark students and report their progress and achievements.

- Teaching one series of lessons of two hours each using an actional pedagogy (spoken and written language, with an emphasis on the spoken language); - One group of four adult beginners; - Giving learning strategies and providing informal assessment.

Time shared between three secondary schools (Marriotts School, Hitchin Boys School, The Priory School), two mainstream school and one comprehensive schools; two mixed school and one single-sex school: - Teaching individual KS5 pupils preparing A-Levels (spoken language) in relation to the lessons delivered by the teacher in charge; - Teaching small groups of 4 to 5 KS3 and KS4 pupils (spoken and written language);- Preparing teaching resources for teachers.
