Structures Engineer
Current- Currently works as a swing shift engineer - Monday thru Friday from 1-10pm- Researches and designs repairs for B717, A321neo, A330, and soon to be B787- Responsible for C-Check non-routine structural repairs for the B717- Responsible to handle Line or AOG Damage for any of our fleet types during a week long 24/7 on call rotation- Creates Task Cards for Repairs in TRAX- Knowledgeable with Boeing and Airbus SRM ATA Chapters 51-57, IPCs, and DWGs- Submits Service Requests to Airbus and Boeing Respectively- Presents a weekly Corrosion Prevention and Control Program Keynote to mechanics for recurrent training- Presents a Damage Mapping Keynote to mechanics during the Mechanics Gen Fam Training- Successfully completed the Boeing 7X7 Aircraft Structural Repair for Engineers Part 1 Course in Seattle- Researches Part Number Effectivity, Substitution, and Interchangeability - Supports A330 and A321 Heavy Check Operation in Singapore and the Philippines - Implement ADsRegularly communicates with different departments to support Operation:- Sheet Metal Mechanics to support operation and release repairs- Purchasing to requisition Materials for repairs- Production Control to issue task cards for 717 Heavy Check- Planning to schedule recurring or line damage tasks cards- MOC for Line or AOG damage- Configuration Control to add parts in TRAX- Records to add serial numbers in TRAX- Inspection on clarification of Task Cards
