With over 12 years of experience in Emergency Management, I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Public Administration from Valdosta State University. My educational background includes a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Webber International University.In my current role as an Emergency Management & Community Projects Senior Planner, I contribute to strategic planning and coordination efforts while ensuring the community is well informed and prepared for potential disasters.To contribute further, I am involved in various FEPA (Florida Emergency Preparedness Association) Working Group HigherEd. These collaborations keep me updated on industry developments and foster a network of professionals dedicated to enhancing emergency response and management.During EOC activations, I serve as the Planning Section Chief, leveraging my knowledge and expertise in coordinating emergency operations. Additionally, I am a member of the Region 4/6 Incident Management Team Planning Section Chief, managing complex incidents and ensuring effective coordination among response agencies.I have obtained certifications to teach courses such as L449 Train-the-Trainer, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), G2300 Intermediate EOC Functions, and NIMS ICS (National Incident Management System Incident Command System) All-Hazards Planning Section Chief. These certifications reflect my dedication to equipping others with necessary emergency response skills.Overall, I am a driven professional with a passion for Emergency Management.
