Methodology Lead
Manage and lead evidence-based reviews/projects from scoping to analysis and communication across a variety of research question types (e.g., interventional, epidemiological, diagnostic, prognostic, economic) and clinical topics. Provide and facilitate instructions to internal medical library and clinical production teams to guide literature searching and data extraction respectively. Participate in the research and development of cutting-edge processes and technologies to advance the field of evidence-based medicine including natural language processing to feed semi-automated literature searching and screening, semi-automated data extraction, and machine-assisted medical ontology management. Assist in scoping topics and serve as a methods and literature resource for internal knowledge requests during scoping and PICOTS development. Confirm PICOTS and aid in translating into review and search and screening protocols. Write instructions to guide data extraction by internal clinical data extraction teams. Collaborate with internal teams of Ontology Specialists to perform synonym/term management using Doctor Evidence’s state-of-the-art ontology management platform. Conduct or contribute to meta-analyses/network meta-analyses or other statistical analyses using Doctor Evidence’s integrated set of analytical tools. Collaborate with national and international stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem including guideline developers and other academic, clinical or industry representatives. Communicate and present complex methodological and statistical information as well as review findings to internal and external stakeholders. Publish or present findings in peer-reviewed publications or scientific conferences. Collaborate with Associate Directors of Methodology and Global Head to develop cutting-edge analytical/organizational frameworks and protocols to answer non-intervention review questions including epidemiological, prognostic, diagnostic and economic questions.
