  Investigation into Vip3 toxin expression and behaviour during crystallisation in different recombinant strains of Bt like 4D7pHTVip and HD73pHTVip through solubilization assays. Also to prove the hypothesis that inducing overexpression of Vip3 toxin causes slowed sporulation /increased toxicity , western blotting to detect signal from conjugated and non conjugated antibodies.During my time as a research intern at crickmore lab, I helped the undergraduate research students with their research project , helping with steps needed in SDS page and also removing and staining the gel , I also provided assitance to the students in protein seperation through centrifugation to obtain the pellet fraction which contained the crystal toxins which were then expressed on SDS page gel.
