My role consisted of; searching for suitable candidates on various platforms, screening, interviewing, running background checks, business development and managing relationships between our employees and our clients. I employed staff to support our constantly expanding client base.- Expanded our client base by developing new relationships and proactively identifying future agency and hiring needs within the entire North Herts area.- Awarded ‘Headhunter of the year’ for most candidates brought into the business.- Redesigned the ‘Wizard sales technique’ to my own archetype via sales calls, email chains and face to face meetings securing 30 new clients to the 10 I had when the desk was given to me, exceeding my target by 300%.- Displayed initiative and ambition by expanding my desk from North Herts to Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes and Cambridgeshire. I worked as group leader for National citizen service’s four week summer camp where the purpose is to develop and integrate the youth into the community. NCS’s focus is on social cohesion, social mobility and social engagement where we aim to integrate the young people into the community by building essential work and life skills, harbouring natural strengths and guiding the youth to a better understanding of their responsibilities as citizens in the community. The initial two weeks were spent within a camp setting, focusing on confidence and understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses plus how to utilise these in a positive light within the community. The following weeks were spent guiding the youths to be an active member in the community where they were required to use their own initiative to complete 30 hours of community service in group settings by finding charities and local community services to support. They had to design, plan, initiate and lead various activities throughout the final week, their ‘social plan’. Over the duration I was required to complete reflection and development sessions with the young persons to track their personal and group progress. Keeping record of all activities and any issues throughout.
