Jerry is currently the Director of RSSC APAC for DSV. He reports to the Vice President of RSSC APAC Finance. Jerry has an impressive track record of more than 28 odd years of hands-on experience in Compliance & Governance, Corporate Finance, Supply Chain Finance, heading Financial COE and setting up big Global Shared Service Centers. Jerry is a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA,UK) and Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA,US). He is also a Registered Accountant with MIA.Jerry started his career with Motorola in 1994 in Supply Chain finance and has since gained experience from diverse roles within the finance department. In 2002, Jerry was promoted to Factory Controller heading finance supporting the Penang manufacturing facility with 1500 employees.In 2008,Jerry was tasked as the key person in setting up the first niche Center of Excellence for Corporate Functions for Motorola. Jerry was responsible for Statutory Audit, Taxation, TP, Treasury and Accounting covering Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa countries. In 2014, Jerry was the instrumental in setting up a full Global Shared Service Center for Motorola Solutions with 120 team members .Jerry was spearheading the Global AP, GL and Accounts Reconciliation, Cash Application, Payroll, Billings, AR Collections and Go To Market finance. During his 21 years tenure at Motorola, Jerry has demonstrated his ability to lead diverse teams of professionals to success in a variety of highly strategic functions and fast-paced environments. Over time he has proven to successfully analyze organization's critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing performance efficiency. Jerry is a strategic thinker with an aptitude for conceptualizing innovative ideas and turning it into key results.In Jan 2016, Jerry left Motorola Solutions and joined Agility GIL to set up and leading their first ever Shared Service Center for Asia and successfully grew a team to a size of 70 team members within 3 years to support GL, Collections, AP, Cash Management and Cash Application. In Aug 2021, Agility GIL was acquired by DSV, a global logistics company offering transport services globally by road, air, sea and train. Jerry will continue leading the Regional Shared Service Center to focus on Accounting, Controlling, Treasury and Credit & Risk Management to support the APAC countries.
