As a Trainer at Empire Mine CrossFit, my duties include weekly member programming, teaching of specific Olympic lifting movements, and promotion.

A busser at Original Mel's is required to work in a fast-paced environment. Our duties include table cleaning, food running, customer interaction, and general maintenance of the building. On a given night, a busser could interact with the entire staff (including the kitchen), as well as numerous customers.

After 4 months of shadowing the owner Elijah Hrbek and his other trainers, I began teaching morning classes at the affiliate. Despite an entry-level work week, I was still able to continue my experience as a trainer and further shape my profession as an instructor. I have instructed anywhere from 1-12 people at a time, and maintain a timely schedule between group stretching, specific mobility and sores, and necessary skill work toward the day's programmed workout.

As a Trainer at Crossfit Monterey, I was responsible for classes of 1-15 in safe and efficient Olympic lifting. I also taught basic gymnastic movements, running and gym etiquette. It was the responsibility of the coach to keep a client on track with their health goals.Other responsibilities included online membership payment and general maintenance.

As a Sales Associate at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I was required to provide product knowledge to customers. Other responsibilities include cash handling and knowledge of the MBA's mission.

As a trainer/apprentice at Crossfit Julia, I shadowed the owners to better my knowledge of an operating gym. Other volunteer responsibilities included gym maintenance, organizing of health competitions, and client accountability.

As a Market Employee at Safeway, it was imperative to understand all positions that a Safeway location provided. This could be a deli clerk, cashier, produce department employee, or overnight file maintenance.
