UCANOCSA is a USA company handling in fire-proof construction materials. Working as Production Manager, I dealt with the interface between the Chinese suppliers and Western customers where I follow up on business researching, sourcing Chinese counterparts, samples testing, negotiation of product price, ordering and purchasing, monitoring quality control, making container shipments and trade payment. I am also responsible for assisting the company personnel and clients with all Chinese social and business relationships as well as doing translation tasks including telephone conferences, face-to-face meetings and documentation.

As a business manager, my duty was to be responsible professionally for advising, researching, managing, scheduling, and PR activities for the President & Owner, including sales staff and technical representatives of the USA company. This activity was organized such that it could pave the way for the company to conduct business procurement and negotiations in China. I also served as translator, business administrator and guide for company’s various business trips in China as well as in HK and Singapore.

Victoria Company is an American-managed company that manages and organizes foreign tourist cruises along the Yangtze River in China. My job was to take up a position of “cruise director” and in charge of passengers’ onboard activities, ranging from giving featured lectures on Chinese history and culture to the presenting of narratives while cruise ship sailed through the Three Gorges and other culture-loaded sections of the river. I also managed the service product of customer satisfaction, production of complex tour schedules, quality control of contract with suppliers of off-shore excursions, and handling different kinds of complaints and comments.
