• Supported NASA LaRC in research and development of the Airspace and Traffic Operations Simulation (ATOS). This activity is centered on potential enhancements to the capability and safety of aircraft, and the development of air traffic management systems to accommodate the continuing growth in air traffic.

• Developed satellite software for the ORBCOMM communications satellite messaging service. This next generation communications service provides global two-way communications. The system employs TDMA techniques to share spectrum amongst the constellation and with other terrestrial services. Software is written in C++ and runs on a Curtiss-Wright SCP-122 and Aitech s950 boards with the PPC 750FX processor running VxWorks.• Developed a software test suite in Python to simulate the environment encapsulating the satellite software. The test suite reads system level tests designed to send/receive messages of various protocols, interpret those messages, and provide the appropriate ground station or subscriber response. Testing includes establishing TCP socket interfaces, conditional logic based on OS, and monitoring message timing parameters. • Developed unit and system level tests to verify/validate software performance. Tests are written in Python and C++, and run on VxWorks and Linux.• CM/QA tools include Subversion, Trac, Cruise Control.

• Developed real-time remote controls for the MK46 Mod2 stabilized gun deployed aboard US Navy LPD and LCS vessels.• Software written in C++ and C# using .NET framework and runs on Win2003 and RedHat (RHEL4).• Modified MK46 embedded controls developed in Rational Rose C++ running on VxWorks.• Developed real-time simulation software for the USMC EFV training device. The training device runs Win2003, RedHat, and VxWorks.• Modeled vehicle ground dynamics, hydrodynamics, and engine/transmission.
