I have over 20 years of experience working in nonprofits, and over 15 years working on food issues, with a special interest in exploring how cutting edge communications strategies can help improve the food system for children, schools, farmers, eaters and food and farmworkers. Specifically, my work experience includes building organizational communications strategies; designing and building online advocacy and fundraising campaigns to engage nonprofit supporters; managing the production of websites and design projects; leading two different organizations through their visual rebranding; developing key messaging and talking points; overseeing organizational social media strategy and advertising; media relations.I am also an experienced and award-winning podcast producer and host of FoodPrint's "What You're Eating." Additional skills and experience include panel moderation; editing; partnership building; storytelling/public speaking. In 2023 I received the Hunter College Food Policy Center's Food Policy Media Award.
