-Worked with a student team of Industrial Engineers to improve efficiency in Northside’s surgical services suites.-Created process flows and conducted time studies of Pre-Op and PACU areas to identify delay points.-Designed a computer simulation model of the Operating Rooms to modify and eliminate delays.-Simulation results and research findings are expected to increase utilization of the OR by 15%.
