The most environmental friendly paper mill in the world.Specialized finepaper products based on recycling and sustainability.Alongside energy optimization of the company's own consumption of energy, via own biofuel heated power plant, we recovered surplus steam / heat from the paper manufacturing process and turned it into district heating for more than 10.500 households in the community.Turnover : 120 mill € - Export share : 95%2 production units and up to 325 employees.

A very ambitious LEAN Programme, McKinsey was on board in the begining to help build the right structure and work set.I had my office in Brussels, but was travelling in European countries most of the time. Main tasks was: Business / regional management support, coaching / training and operational follow up in transformations.Responsible for LEAN transformations in: Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, UK, Sweden & Denmark.

I was the right hand for the Swedish Managing Director.Main assignments :Investment in Litho Lamination equipment in Stockholm and building personnel skills for designers, sales, production management and operators in whole Sweden for Promotional Packaging.Building a new EPS plant in the southern part of Sweden.

Värnamo, Sweden

A Turn Around assignment. At the beginning Cellplast was a company with 4 plants, a turnover of SEK 150 Million and 110 employees. The focus was profitable sales, cost reduction and building the employees motivation and pride, at the same time where 4 plants became / was reduced to 2 plants.

Stockholm, Sweden

A Turn Around assignment for the box plant in Stockholm. A plant where the corrugated sales covered 1/3 of the geographical Swedish market. The turnover was SEK 300 Million and there where 160 employees. The focus was profitable sales, cost reduction and building the employees motivation and pride.

Productivity development in a very well invested plant where the organisational structure where years behind, break agreements and union initiated strikes where some of the big challenges in the period where Danisco decided to sell the packaging activities to SCA. The plant had 150 employees.
