As the founder of Education+, I launched this organization with the mission of promoting educational equity across Southern California. We offer a range of 100% free services designed to support and enrich the lives of qualifying students in our community. I wrote a grant proposal and secured an URCA grant of $750 to support our programs. I created and implemented daily tutoring and enrichment services, along with weekly coding and Spanish classes. Furthermore, I recruited and managed a leadership team and over 50 volunteers, fostering a collaborative environment with room to grow. I was able to coordinate with local school districts and organizations to promote our services. I worked alongside my team to create promotional materials, including flyers and sign-up forms, and designed and manage our website and social media platforms to boost community engagement. In our inaugural year, Education+ provided free tutoring and enrichment services to over 60 local students, bridging educational gaps and supporting their academic growth. Currently, we operate three key programs: Education+ Tutoring and Enrichment, Education+ CodeExplorers, and Education+ SpanishExplorers. Our work is driven by a commitment to making quality education accessible to all, and we are dedicated to continuing this mission to create lasting impacts in our community.

Conduct research on history of transportation and housing policies across the United States as they relate to past and current educational equity issues. Topics include the property tax dilema, New York City school segregation case study, and redlining across major cities. Synthesize information into cohesive research papers biweekly.
