• In partnership with Cambridge Mayor’s Youth Employment Program (MYSEP) and the Cambridge STEAM Initiative, implemented, and led a 6-week summer introductory STEM careers exploration program to MYSEP high school youth from populations underrepresented in the STEM fields. •Mentored and supervised youth workers while also providing training, accountability, and support for youth to learn employment skills. •Implemented project-based engineering challenges that focused on learner-driven problem solving through design thinking. Explicitly connected design challenges to relevant STEM careers.•Consistently considered the needs of the group and individuals through frequent check-ins with youth and the assigned MYSEP counselor and adapted academic curriculum, enrichment and behavioral interventions as needed.

● Responsible for designing and teaching hands-on and minds-on STEAM classes to provide opportunities for children ages 5-13 to learn, discover, and develop a passion for the sciences in a community based after-school program.● Facilitated classes individually and as in a teaching team with youth workers on themes such as engineering, gardening, “mini maker space,” art, coding, and science.● Initiated a partnership with Enroot Education to train, mentor, and supervise two high school interns during the school year.● Engage community members in hands on STEAM activities at the Center at the Cambridge Science Festival, Cambridge STEAM events, and the Cambridge Winter Farmer's Market in order to develop strong relationships with the local community.
