During my tenure with EDC, I’ve applied knowledge of financing issues and general lending/underwriting practices to manage a proportionate share of transactions in our customer portfolio. While doing so, I’ve assessed and mitigated transaction risks on basic transactions and portfolios. This means that I understands financing issues, financial markets terminology and general lending/underwriting practices and can apply this knowledge to the entire risk underwriting and mitigation process.I support the preparation of transaction and credit material, for presentation to appropriate DoA, as well as contribute to negotiation strategies (while demonstrating that I understand the negotiating position of the counter parties).I work closely with Legal Services, supporting the drafting and review of transaction documents to deliver products for international transactions.I support account management function in managing customer expectations at various stages of import/export/licensing process;Lastly, in accordance with the principles of LEAN, I identify opportunities for improvement, solve problems, and participate in ongoing brainstorming and Continuous Improvement alignment meetings and contribute to ad hoc projects related to our processes and other improvements at the product and sector level

At Rogers, I managed all aspects of small/medium projects (New Site Acquisition-Real Estate) including project scoping, resource assignment, project plan development, project tracking, monitoring and reporting through the application of proven project management principles and methodologies. I helped develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, Post Implementation Reviews, etc.).As part of project management, I demonstrated my ability to identify benefits expected from initiatives and conduct post implementation reviews to report on and track results.I also used resources effectively to implement projects while orchestrating multiple activities at once to accomplish objectives on time.I used critical thinking skills to anticipate and manage potential risks that will arise and also communicated these to the stakeholders on a regular basis and ensure decisions are made quickly and effectively.I maintained the Project Management Office Lessons Learned database, and also organized presentations to communicate the Lessons Learned region-wide.Lastly, I, along with my team, contributed in the development and implementation of templates, procedures and processes as part of the continuous development of the Wireless Customer Deployment team.
