Worked at the world’s largest B2C marketplace for surplus food. As an initial member of the US team, I played a pivotal role in establishing Too Good To Go in the Boston market. I partnered with food businesses to help them understand their surplus food challenges and gave them the tools to take action against food waste.

- Created and taught classroom and extracurricular activities as well as workshops on English language and cultural topics- Launched a university writing center; provided one-on-one English language tutoring for the university community- Served as a cultural ambassador, facilitating dialogues on a range of social and political issues- Partnered with a local nonprofit to offer environmental education programming for fourth-grade students

- Led, trained, and managed a team of 9 trip planners who executed over 50 domestic and international outdoor leadership programs for 2,500 students- Oversaw the development of youth programs designed to inspire awe and respect for the natural world- Co-led annual review and revision of risk management practices and policies; developed systems for collecting and analyzing data related to program incidents- Designed and implemented an intensive 10-day training course for a staff of 230 leaders; trained 20 full-time staff in emergency management- Spearheaded and supervised the adoption of diversity and inclusion practices and trainings across teams

- Designed and planned outdoor leadership programs for young adults; cultivated partner relationships- Recruited, selected, and trained 200 seasonal staff annually- Conducted sales events nationally for prospective families; assisted with enrollment and customer support- Responded to emergency situations in the field

- Co-led three two-week outdoor leadership trips for middle school students- Taught and facilitated a leadership curriculum that emphasized hard and soft skills, including Leave No Trace principles- Maintained the safety and well-being of trip participants in wilderness settings

- Used GIS to analyze and map rural gentrification trends in the US- Conducted a literature review of rural gentrification in the US and abroad

- Edited and expanded an operations manual for training gleaning program coordinators in Vermont

- Coordinated with area farmers, service organizations and local volunteers to harvest excess produce for donation- Trained and supervised volunteers in the field- Wrote and produced educational and promotional materials to engage community members in program activities in the Rutland area

- Supported the Beyond Oil team's efforts to end America's addiction to oil by promoting clean energy alternatives to the Keystone XL pipeline and endorsing green transportation options- Conducted research, edited reports, wrote and designed postcards and flyers, organized events, and assisted with community outreach efforts- Helped to organize a protest of the Keystone XL pipeline at the White House that drew over 10,000 participants
