Jesse is an experienced technologist, researcher and leader with 15 years of experience in highly technical ISR fields. At the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Science and Technology Department, he led and conducted research on low-cost magnetic sensors, Ground Penetrating Synthetic Aperture Radar, Detecting Riverine IED Command Wires using RF Radiation, Enabling Communications with Quickstrike Mines and Modeling of Magnetic Noise Signatures. Jesse has a decade of experience in unmanned underwater vehicle operations, including the entire Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) survey process, including preparation, vehicle launch and recovery, mission planning, data analysis, data delivery and reporting. His experience also includes sensor systems such as real aperture side scan sonar, synthetic aperture sonar, bottom penetrating sonar, multibeam echosounders, passive magnetic gradiometers and active electromagnetic systems. For Booz Allen and the Air Force, Jesse has led the ACC Federal Laboratory as Technical Director for 5 years, guiding the team in all aspects, interfacing with the client, briefing senior leaders, managing projects and helping grow the embedded Laboratory model throughout the DoD.Jesse holds a B.S. in Physics and B.S. in Astronomy from the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Florida. He also has Post-graduate Certificates in Anti-Submarine Warfare from the Naval Postgraduate School and Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University.
