Coordinate development of software and hardware features for Intel platforms. Work with hardware designers on new architectural features, both in a prototyping and architectural design capacity. Work closely with various open source communities (particularly Linux and X.Org) to ensure full Intel platform support.Design, implement and consult on changes to the Linux graphics stack (from the minor to high level architectural). Responsibilities included developing code to allow Red Hat Enterprise Linux to run on Altix, finding and fixing bugs in the operating system as a whole, and coordinating feature work between Red Hat and SGI, taking into account both hardware and software release schedules.
