As a Teaching Assistant specialising in Special Educational Needs (SEN), I have supported students with a range of learning differences, ensuring they receive equitable access to education and resources. This role has developed my strong understanding of the barriers faced by marginalised groups within our educational system, including those with disabilities, neurodivergent students, and those requiring additional academic support.My key responsibilities include:-Support inclusive practices within the classroom and participating in the implementation of educational policies designed to promote diversity and inclusion.-Engage with educators, parents, and policy-makers to promote best practices in special education, advocating for greater access to tailored learning resources and support services.- Collaborating with teachers to facilitate lesson plans and create individualised learning strategies.- Advocate for students needs by facilitating communication between their families, teachers and external support services.- To monitor and track individual progress, to ensure students are meeting their targets set in their personalised lesson plans.

This role involved using tools and machinery to prepare greeneries and identify and treat plant disease (soft gardening), we would also install new pathways and marble pieces for clients (hard landscaping).

In this role, my duties involved:- Creating advertisements & leaflets for upcoming sessions and classes held at the campuses facilities- Connecting with different University societies to organise participation for events held at the university e.g World Week.- Running sport sessions & activities for students and staff at the university.

Maintained a 95% customer satisfaction rate by providing quality support whilst resolving insurance claims, which preserved relationships with customers & VRO’sAssisted customers with vehicle procedures, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting the adoption of greener alternatives schemes
