Upgraded the aging server and network infrastructure for the manufacturing plant in Mexico. The performance improvement led to a 75% reduction in our manufacturing past due backlog in 1 quarter.Experience with Zerto DR. Configured VRAs, created VPGs, performed VPG failover testing. Developed a change control process to coordinate downtime for routine maintenance and deployments.

Active Directory environment consisting of 5 domains, 50 Domain Controllers, and 40 sites across the world. Managed all server backups using EMC Avamar. Upgraded and optimized Avamar to achieve consistent backups. Collaborated with a team of engineers for the administration of over 1,000 servers.

Part of a two-man team that managed 200 servers. Primary responsibilities included Active Directory, vSphere, storage, mobile device management (AirWatch), and application deployments. Championed the automated upgrade of 300 Windows XP workstations to Windows 7 within 1 month; over 200 of the upgrades were performed on a Saturday afternoon with zero data loss.

Researched, designed, and implemented the vSphere infrastructure and took part in the initiative to virtualize our physical servers. Responsible for packaging and deploying corporate applications and software updates. Administered over 800 servers and 7 Active Directory domains.

Supervised a team of 4 Help Desk Technicians and supported 700 local and remote users. Participated in an enterprise integration project to combine our Irvine site and corporate office into one enterprise support center.
