Hi everyone, I am a 2022 graduate from Sonoma State University. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Political Science degree. I received the honor from the Political Science department of graduating with distinction as I was a top member of the 2022 class. During my 4 years as a student, I also played NCAA collegiate softball. I learned excellent time management skills while balancing a high caliber of both athletics and academics. I was awarded All-NorCal Junior College pitcher of the year as a Freshman and received 2 CCAA pitcher of the week awards my Senior year at the Division II level. During all of this I maintained a 3.8 GPA. My next step was integrating my skills into work experience and I did that through getting a full time job as an Administrative Assistant/Contract Administrator for a general contractor. Here I have gained skills in organization and communication. I have acted as the point of contact for all subcontractors at the start of a new project and have guided them to complete necessary legal paperwork. I have gained experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Sharepoint, Squarespace, Basecamp, DocuSign, Teams and Zoom.I am transitioning into the nonprofit sector, and recently started as an Administrative Assistant for the Livermore Lab Foundation. I am excited to expand my knowledge here and start developing skills relating to nonprofit work. The Livermore Lab Foundation helps advance the LLNL's technology and research through funding fellowship opportunities for students and supporting STEM education/research. I am starting my Master of Public Adminstration in the fall of 2023. I cannot wait to start the next chapter of life and am very grateful to begin this step in my career.Thanks for your time, Jesse Dupuis
