Perform single pilot day and NVG initial/extended attack aerial firefighting missions under hazardous conditions including mountainous terrain, turbulence, reduced visibility and congested traffic areas. Conduct landings to unimproved sites at high density altitude near performance limits of the aircraft in close proximity to uncontrolled fire line including one-wheel and hover step crew insertions/extractions. Conduct direct/indirect water drops from fixed tank in close proximity to ground crews. Perform search and rescue operations including static and dynamic hoists. Transport hand crews/cargo and perform reconnaissance flights.

Perform functional check flights to determine the airworthiness of aircraft through inspection, flight-testing, and evaluation of flight performance, engine operation, systems operation, and flight characteristics. Perform maintenance operational checks to assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and to ensure aircraft systems, associated equipment, and/or components are operating satisfactorily. Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

UH-1N instructor/evaluator. Instruction covered contact, emergency procedures, remote operations (day and NVG), mountain operations, formation, tactical/aerial gunnery, and civil search and rescue including hoist operations (133 Class D).Mission experience with tactical team insertion/extraction, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance support and civil search and rescue.Held positions as chief of training, tactics flight commander, student ops flight commander, standards and evaluations flight examiner.
