Mr. Hutton’s experience within the commercial diving and ROV industries spans over 20 years, with an additional five years of experience in topside shoring, foundation and structural steel.While under his direction, Ballard Marine Construction has successfully completed over 5000 uniquely identifiable marine and underwater construction projects in water depths exceeding 2,265 feet of water. This experience is varied and includes estimating, managing and supervised diving in - or on, nuclear facilities, hydroelectric facilities, industrial plants, pulp mills, bridges, shipwrecks, caissons, water treatment plants, and potable water facilities. Each project was executed with safety as the paramount concern. In the roles of estimator and all phases of management, Mr. Hutton has interfaced with different government and municipal agencies such as the United States Army Corps of Engineers, United States Coast Guard, United States Navy, Washington and Oregon Departments of Fish and Wildlife, Bonneville Power Authority, Washington Department of Transportation, Port of Seattle, and many other private companies and municipalities. A strong working relationship with these varied entities was achieved with attention to detail, hard work, and innovative and cost-effective solutions tailored to meet the needs of each project.
