My strong suit is being a problem-solver, and leading teams teams to do the same.Some problems are critical, urgent and necessitate quick thinking/action to resolve. Other problems are more complex, require strategic thinking, and have a more progressive implementation period. I am experienced in both.My career began in physical security, where I progressively advanced to lead teams in the manufacturing space, research and design space, and corporate environments. I've planned the security functions of numerous large scale consumer events, as well as internal-facing events. I've been responsible for executive protection planning and execution, and served as the client manager for multiple contract supplier relationships.As of late, my time has been dedicated to enforcing intellectual property rights. This involves training and coordination with Customs authorities, managing domestic matters directly through cease and desist actions and acting on infringements in the social media/website/e-commerce space, while also coordinating domestic and international response through 3rd party legal counsel. One of the more unique parts of this, however, is the field work, and coordination of the physical surrender of counterfeit goods, preventing the inferior goods from reaching the consumer.My career has been focused on solving problems with a rational and strategic mindset. Customer service has been an integral part of all of this, and I've found that developing relationships based on trust is key to being successful.
