I’m a Creative Communications graduate from Red River College Polytechnic, specializing in Advertising. My academic roots are in political science and history, which I pursued at the University of Winnipeg from 2008 to 2016. I got my High school diploma from Kelvin High School, class of 2008.My career path has run the gamut: rolling and baking at Bagelsmith, mixing drinks at the Fort Garry Hotel and for the Royal Canadian Air Force, making edible art at Oh Doughnuts, and orchestrating events as an assistant banquet manager at the Centro Caboto Centre. As a writer, I've learned that connecting with your audience can happen as effectively over a bar top as in a classroom. These roles have honed my ability to understand diverse perspectives and translate them into compelling, relatable copy. I’m grateful for every opportunity and late night that gave my writing more to draw on.Born in Ninette and a Winnipegger since 2001, I was once the second fastest fifth grader and now favour short jogs to the fridge.
