Responsible for growing philanthropic revenue from large donors by building a mid-level and major gift program from scratch. During my time at Mozilla, I achieved a 20-fold increase in philanthropic support in my portfolio. My key responsibilities included identifying prospects, generating donor engagement, creating new growth strategies, and directly soliciting gifts of up to $100K. I also managed the MozFest sponsorship program, where I solicited new corporate partners and built benefits packages that focused on audience engagement. Throughout my time at Mozilla, I prioritized a donor-first approach that found synergies between a donor's interests and Mozilla's efforts to make a positive impact in the world.

I joined the organization as a Development Associate in 2012 and was promoted to Sustaining Member Officer in 2014, and Senior Sustaining Member Officer in 2016. During my time at the Pacific Council, I led a fundraising effort that doubled the size of the organization. My primary responsibilities included managing and developing growth strategies for our major gifts portfolio of over $2 million annually and 100 unique donors. I also played a central role in our corporate and grant fundraising efforts including raising over $1 million for each of our biannual galas.

I wrote and edited grants, funder updates, and various correspondences with foundations. Also, I scheduled meetings with funders and coordinated the grant seeking efforts of a national network of state advocates.

Promoting Middle East diplomacy efforts through research, outreach and organizing.

I organized events with experts on the future of Russia, Turkey and Ukraine funded by the Carnegie Cooperation. I researched and helped author both preliminary reports and final publication of alternate scenarios and contacted experts, professionals, professors and students and arranged their attendance as observers to the events.

I facilitated data-sharing across governments and UN agencies through DevInfo’s database system by prepareing graphics and presentations for online learning courses, weekly online presentations and training programs.

I researched various issues pertaining to the Middle East and wrote briefings for staff. Additionally, I helped organize Congressional, State Department, and corporate briefings and weekly cultural events and provided administrative support to senior staff.
