One of the awesome parts about working at ET was the variety of things I would do on a daily basis. At one point of the day I could be working reception and greeting celebrities and the next I would be organizing shooting schedules and producer’s schedules. I also assisted with field producing on and off-site shoots: where I assembled and wrote shoot reports and brainstormed questions. I also logged footage and transcribed interviews.I was also brought on as a production assistant after my internship to assist at the Oscars, Golden Globes and People's Choice Awards.

My time at WICD has been incredibly enriching and influential in my pursuit of becoming a better broadcast journalist. I have been asked back every semester to intern at WICD since starting there my Sophomore year. At WICD, I assist reporters in the field—interview, shoot b-roll, write scripts, ingest video, gather SOT as well as, pitch story ideas and write SOTS and VO’s for the 5, 6 and 10 o’clock newscast.

I was honored to be the first Editorial Intern at SPLASH. At this time before its release I was able to be a part of the fundamental building blocks of the publication where I helped develop a system of organization, help cover events and spend the months leading up to the release of our first issue giving input on our first cover.
