With a background in architecture, real estate, and development, Jesse brings a unique expertise to the real estate industry.Jesse currently manages and is actively involved in the practice of both design/build companies McGrath Architects and SHB Studio. He is also a licensed Realtor with @properties. Prior to becoming a broker, Jesse worked for a notable architecture firm in Chicago and eventually opened his own practice. Enthusiastic about green building, Jesse designed and permitted over 50 projects through the Chicago Green Permit program, and over 1,000 permits total in Chicago. Having managed all aspects of McGrath Architects as both President and lead designer, Jesse gained business acumen and analytical skills, which shape his approach to real estate to this day. An expert on design, permits, inspections, and real estate markets, Jesse has created a one-stop shop for his clients’ various real estate needs. Well aware of Chicago zoning laws, he can navigate projects through the zoning change, variance, administrative adjustment, and landmarks obstacles in the City of Chicago permit process. Jesse has helped build over 20 projects including over 50 residential units.We are Self-Certified architects and Registered Energy Professionals in the City of Chicago, licensed and insured in Illinois, members of LEED AP, Certified Passive House Consultants, AIA and NCARB.We are seeking development opportunities that utilize our design/build skills.
