As a kid, I dreamed of being an astronaut. I loved the idea of pushing past our current boundaries and exploring the unknown. I wanted to develop new technologies that allowed us to discover what was previously impossible. This led me to study Aeronautical engineering. I liked the rigor of engineering, but really thrived leading engineers to solve real world problems. My calling was to deliver results.Consulting was an early fit for me, where I could lead teams on a variety of high pressure, high impact initiatives for our clients. I loved my years in consulting where I worked across industries such as banking, manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services. We helped our clients use technology to improve their competitive position, optimize their operations, and address some of their most challenging issues.I now lead teams at Fidelity that develop new benefits that help millions of people. I get to lead teams that are breaking new ground every day. Not only are we leveraging the latest in technologies, but we are informing legislation that creates new ways for employers to help their employees pay down student debt and save for retirement.
