Graduated from Columbia College with a B.A. in Fiction Writing and currently freelancing part-time with lowercase on B2B content, I am now seeking to turn my experience into a full-time editing position. With lowercase, I serve as both Senior Editor and QC Editor on articles for clients such as TestGorilla and Toggl. I edit our articles to ensure the content is sharp and valuable, the tone matches the client's persona, and the writing flows logically and in an engaging way for the reader. I also optimize our articles using keyword research, and verify that the structure matches our style guide. Finally, I offer developmental feedback to our writers that they may use to grow and improve their writing, and continue to produce turbo-charged content.As for writing, I pride myself on my versatility. I refuse to restrict myself to one genre or form; if it's something I'm not familiar with, then I work at it until I've conquered it. Comedy, romance, tragedy, Sci-Fi, scientific papers, instruction manuals, speeches: you name it, and I'll happily tackle it. The bigger the challenge, the better. If I don't learn something from everything I do, I'd be doing myself a disservice.I would also like to get involved with some creative projects to both build up my resume and to refine my skills.
