Government contract position providing program technical support at Redstone Arsenal to implement aspects of the Army Environmental Restoration Program including the Compliance Cleanup Program, the Installation Restoration/Remediation Program (IRP), the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP), and the Underground Storage Tank (UST)/Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Program. In addition, provide technical assistance and recommendations to Redstone Arsenal in support of permit compliance, renewals and modifications, installation action plan updates, and investigation derived waste (IDW) management.

-Development of conceptual site models, evaluation of cumulative risk and exposure pathways, and development of Risk-Based Target Levels (RBTL) in accordance with the Alabama Risk-Based Corrective Action (ARBCA) guidance manual.-Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.-Plan for and participate in business development activities to identify, develop, win, and execute project opportunities and build and maintain client relationships.-Provide technical guidance and train junior level staff, review reports and proposals.-Wetland determinations and delineations in general accordance with the USACE.

-Conduct environmental compliance services involving compliance audits, spill prevention control and countermeasure plans, drilling programs plans, storm water pollution prevention plans, hazardous waste minimization plans, contingency plans, and Tier II reporting in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency , Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and Emergency Planning and Right-to-Know Act.-Develop health and safety plans, job safety analysis, and environmental protection plans for site assessments, environmental and geotechnical drilling projects, and industrial hygiene projects for asbestos.-Groundwater remediation evaluation, design, and implementation of dual phase extraction, air sparge, and dissolved oxygen in situ treatment systems.-Assist clients in maintaining compliance after notice of violations from state and federal regulators and developing inspection reports with supporting documentation submitted to the regulating agency.-Prepare technical reports and data interpretation of environmental reports including groundwater monitoring plans, corrective action plans, corrective action system effectiveness, alternate source demonstration plans, Phase I/II environmental site assessments, gas monitoring plans, underground storage tank operation and management plans, and hazardous material assessments.-Manage projects under senior engineers and geologist including proposal preparation, cost proposal estimation, cost-effective and timely completion of projects, and develop client relations to meet or exceed our client’s expectations.-Rock core descriptions including percentage of recovered rock and rock quality designation.-Soil sampling under the Unified Soils Classification System, water sampling, low-flow water sampling, gas monitoring, asbestos sampling, and mold sampling.-Generate proposals for new an existing clients, defining scope, schedule, and budget limitations.

Casper, Wyoming Area

Performed baseline water sampling, stray gas investigations, and special projects for natural gas clients in Wyoming, Colorado, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. QA/QC lead in the Casper office. Managed logbooks, field notes, equipment data, and online data base and made sure information was accurate before sending it off to clients. Responsible for the preparation of the chain of custody before sending off water samples. Calibrated and maintenance on field equipment. I've also performed bacteria testing for domestic water wells. Usage of BART bio-detectors to identify the presence of slime-forming bacteria, sulfate-reducing bacteria, and ion-reducing bacteria.

Casper, Wyoming Area

This was a six month contract position to determine employment with SAIC. Performed baseline water sampling, stray gas investigations, and special projects for natural gas clients in Wyoming, Colorado, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. QA/QC lead in the Casper office. I worked on behalf of federal and state agencies to collect information assessing recreational use along the gulf coast. Provided in field data collection following strict protocols, administering short interviews, and handling sensitive data in a public setting. Logging of field information. Tracking and transfer of field information to an off-site manager.
