I was recruited by the CEO to join as VP, Head of People (employee #6) to build the HR function from 0-1, and was promoted to Chief People Officer in January, 2023.

I served as the Head of People Analytics for several of Amazon's largest businesses including Amazon Devices, Amazon Advertising, Prime Video, Amazon Studios and Amazon Music. The team, which grew from 12 to 22 during my tenure, included business analysts, business intelligence engineers, software engineers, and product managers. As the leader of the team, I implemented mechanisms to ensure long-term success such as tenets, "voice of the customer" programs, and agile project management and sprint planning. As a team, we delivered all HR reporting tools including self service dashboards (used by 1,300+ customers per month), Monthly & Quarterly Business Review metrics, and ad-hoc analysis to inform critical people operations decisions related to talent management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, etc.

I was hired to build a centralized recruiting operations and analytics function to support three distinct Amazon business units with a global hiring demand of 5,000+ annually. My remit included interviewer capacity and capability, candidate experience, recruiter performance and productivity, workforce planning and headcount management, and 3P vendor management. In the first year, I grew the team to five (two Program Managers and three Business Analysts). In 2019, the Recruiting Coordination function (55 total) was added to my org.

In this rotational assignment, I led the project management efforts associated with launching a new recruiter onboarding program across the EMEA region. In its first year, the program supported the onboarding of 400+ new recruiters across 14 countries with an end goal of decreasing time-to-productivity for new hires and improving operational excellence through process consistency.

Exceeded Washington state fundraising record for a gubernatorial campaign by providing leadership to a team of professionals and interns to implement a comprehensive finance plan. Cultivated, solicited and closed individual and corporate contributions totaling $11.2M - where the maximum contribution amount was limited to $3,600 per entity. Doubled event revenue projections by strategically scheduling, coordinating and performing necessary follow up for over 250 local and national fundraisers. Experience includes management of large VIP events, industry and issue driven receptions, and major-donor cultivation meetings.
