Ever since I was young, I loved nature and always had a knack for uncovering new niches just waiting to be explored! This has followed me throughout my career and education. As an environmental researcher, I explore how current threats against terrestrial and marine ecosystems can be disrupted through science and innovation. My recent investigations include assessing biomass utilization to mitigate climate change impacts and contaminant impacts on soil functions.It's not always the easiest path, but I've never been afraid of challenges and enjoy looking for new ways to strengthen our collective relationship with the environment. Outside of research, I am an avid consumer and doer of all things science, art, and the outdoors. If I'm not in a park or garden somewhere with my 15-year old dog, you'll find me at a dance studio or writing.
