As Executive Assistant to the Division Heads and Registrar at The Mirman School, I provide high-level administrative support to the Heads of Lower and Upper School, managing their calendars, correspondence, and projects. I also oversee the school's enrollment, registration, academic records and related functions.In addition to my role at The Mirman School, I am also a New York Times bestselling author, speaker, and community advocate. I have co-authored eight children's picture books with my daughter, Parker, with the first book based on her viral encounter with the portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama at the National Portrait Gallery. That book, titled Parker Looks Up, is an inspiring story of curiosity, empowerment, and representation that has received multiple awards and nominations, including an NAACP Image Award nomination and the California Young Reader Medal. I am passionate about mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and proudly serve as a partner of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I am a Mother, a coach, and an avid traveler who loves to share my experiences and insights with diverse audiences of all ages because there is power in our stories and our journey.
