• Working within the elections division of the Secretary of States office a variety of tasks have been given, within multiple buildings, to assist in the advancement of preparations for the upcoming General Election of 2024. • Assisting with the catalog tasks involved with petition initiatives after they have been notarized consist of categorizing each individual page by petition and by county with each one having a unique verification number put onto the page before packaging the pages to be mailed to individual counties for signature verification. • Once the petition signatures have been verified by the counties, each one needed verification of return, along with a digital catalog, then arranged into boxes for labeling, and preparation of long-term storage. • After official initiative ballot wording is confirmed, tasks of printing and distributing pamphlets to counties in both English and Spanish were efficiently carried out. • Daily tasks include answering questions over the phone as Nebraska citizens call with questions regarding the upcoming election, responding to voicemails, forwarding emails sent to the state to the respective county mentioned in the email, and preparing documents to be forwarded to respective counties that have been sent to the state. • Other tasks given have included a variety of verification steps for spelling on the official ballots for all precincts within Nebraska for the 2024 General Election. Initiative paragraph proof reading, individual candidate proof reading for elected position title, name spelling, candidate and position ID’s, party affiliation, and district numbers.

• While stiving to attain a Masters Degree, this position comes with the responsibility of teaching a lab under a given professor. The course lab that was given after personnel selection was the Lab Design portion of Cartography and Data Visualization offered at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. This includes creating, teaching, and grading of all assignments for this lab.• In this lab the students learn about creating visually appealing, yet accurate and unbiased maps within ArcPro. Each stage of data collection, manipulation, and visualization are shown over the semester. Instruction on how to use Adobe Illustrator and Tableau to the cartographers advantage are also present within this lab.• Along with teaching a lab, there is also responsibility to assist students in the other lab that is held by the professor. This lab focuses on web mapping using HTML coding in Visual Code Studio along with creating a website through AWS that showcases the dozens of web maps created in the lab.

• Organized and executed educational activities both in a classroom setting and around the zoo with children ages 6-12 in groups of 10-15. These activities often involved coordination with another zoo faculty member at certain times that required efficiently transporting the children across the zoo. Created and prepared educationally themed crafts was another daily task.• As the sole adult person taking care of the children, it was a personal responsibility to make sure all children were within sight and being respectful of the surrounding visitors while also keeping an upbeat and enriching environment. When interacting with the parents at drop-off and pick-up it was a responsibility to give individualized feedback of the children each day.• While completing daily tasks there was also a responsibility to mentor the teenage volunteer that aided with the group throughout the day.

•Worked at the front desk of the election’s office during the early voting period of the 2022 primary election. Answered questions while conversing with citizens directly about paperwork involving the primary election. Common interaction often centered around changing one’s party, registering to vote, update on different boundaries, and other knowledge surrounding the election processes.•Inputted information from paperwork into the computer systems used by the election’s office while resolving any issues that may have been on the paperwork. This included finding discrepancies within the current system and updating them with new information given by the person, and sending automated letters to individuals who have successfully completed online registration.•Personally entrusted with counting ballots on actual Election Day and worked closely with in a one-on-one environment with the Election Commissioner on programing electronic ballots because of my previous experience working with the GIS department down the hall earlier that year.

•Created a cohesive map in ArcPro with dozens of layers representing the updated boundaries that then aided the Elections Office with work involving GIS data. For easier common use and interaction, a web app was created that was distributed to the Election Office workers and the public.•Update and transfer GIS data from various companies into ArcOnline to create a solid foundation of GIS knowledge for a new sewer company in Southern Sarpy County. This required admin permissions that allowed for the uploading of updated data along with generating easy to navigate descriptions for each item.•Created custom base maps in ArcPro using the create options, and an imagery base map for comparison. This will give highlights to many areas of interest throughout Sarpy County. Digital recreations of central areas of interest throughout the county for both long existing areas and those that are still within construction. Undeveloped areas were cross compared with site plans along with the imagery base map for best accuracy.

•Lead a team of five to fifteen members in routine stretches and exercises each practice. Practices were held around three times a week for the duration of the season.•Taught and perfected choreography before the deadline of the first performance with continuing corrections until the final performance.•Used personal four years of prior performance experience to create ten minutes of rhythmic choreography while being aware of where each member will be on the field to avoid collisions with other band members or equipment.•Organized and motivated weekly practices that optimized time efficiency. Without efficient practices there would not be enough time to teach and perfect the choreography before the first competition in order to gain a top position. There was an average of five competitions and 5 home football games where the team preformed the choreography in front of a large crowd.•Created alternate ways of teaching to accommodate members different learning styles. The team often consisted of individuals with no experience to up to four years of experience. Having a cohesive learning environment maximized the effectiveness of the teaching while keeping a timely season schedule.•Effectively communicate with parental figures on any questions, comments, or concerns.

•Kept the same level of work ethic throughout multiple supervisors and company name changes. Throughout the duration of the job there was around ten different supervisors and a total of three different company name changes that often lead to other team members discouragement.•Developed, created, and supervised various Summer Camps with up to fifteen children and a few coworkers. Common activities included crafts, gym games, swimming, and educational activities.•Organized and categorized past and present paperwork for multiple supervisors.•Created a safe and fun environment for children with an enthusiastic personality. This environment was kept when attending to one or fifteen with attention to the safety of the children as a priority.•Cleaned and organized the entirety of the workspace daily to keep a safe and hygienic environment.•Communicate effectively with parental figures on any questions, comments, or concerns.
