I am enthusaistic and open-minded optometry student at UC Berkeley School of Optometry who is excited to further explore the diverse field of optometry. From working in different specialities in optometry, such as ophthalmology/optometry, low vision, and private practice, I enjoy serving diverse populations with various visual needs. My time at Stein Eye Institute also helped me realize the shortage of optometrists in low vision and other specialties. My goal is to use my knowledge and training to make specialized care more accessible. I also have conducted research into genetics of various corneal dystrophies, and I am hoping to continue my time in vision science to stay informed about current technology and treatments for better and more thorough clinical management. Ultimately, I strive to use all my experiences to better serve the community and to establish meaningful relationships with my patients.
