Designed and executed 22 month mixed methods field based project on food insecurity in Upper West Ghana through independent site selection and project set up. Secured $45,000 in external funding.

I managed volunteer recruitment and referral for a network of agencies working with the post-Katrina rebuilding effort.

I co-led the project design and methodology for a qualitative assessment of health care services operated by a rural health clinic.

I managed the data collection procedures for a statewide health care access project funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health. This entailed recruiting and collecting oral and written testimonies from MO citizens on their constraints to accessing quality and affordable health care services.

As an outreach worker for the Stitch in Time project, my duties involved conducting extensive needs assessments with homebound, low-income seniors living in the city of St. Louis. I used the assessment results to connect seniors to health and social resources/programs with the hope that such connections would reduce unnecessary ER visits and nurture a greater quality of life.
