During the first in-person school year after the pandemic I worked at COAH High School in Roxbury. I ran the tutorial program, which was an extra support class for all 9th and 10th graders at the school. Tutorial was held in the cafeteria and each class was split into two groups with one tutor each, focusing on either Math or ELA. Outside of the math and ELA subjects there was a constant need for support in the social emotional learning of the students, especially in the transition back to in-person learning at school after the remote learning of the pandemic.
